X-Ray Lungenflügel

Working with original and photographed X-ray films has been an important part of my work since 1989. Combinations with light slits and back-painting with ink exert a great fascination on me on different levels: The “television blue”, the transparency, the structure of the grid in a highly enlarged print, the fact that I am putting an inner world on the outside – all this lets me play with this material, collage it, install it.
