Untitled

Colorful butterflies with darker wings are beginning to disappear. The rising temperatures brought about by climate change are causing them problems. Unlike their lighter-colored counterparts, they cannot regulate their body temperature as well because their wings do not reflect sunlight as well. The numerous reddish-brown droplets make you think of blood. They are excess dyes and tissue that remain after metamorphosis and are excreted by the butterfly. The peacock butterfly puts them on paper immediately after hatching. When looking at it, the image of a struggle emerges, regardless of its beauty.
