Navigating with Leaf (and Fungus) (Poster)

The openings of the portrayed leaf, which are reminiscent of a constellation of celestial bodies and direct our gaze in a certain direction, are created by an interplay between fungus and plant. The work has its origins in Donna Haraway’s exploration of the Chthulucene, a fictitious age after the Anthropocene in which we only have a future as symbionts, as interconnected beings.
