The body-painting series explores the entanglement of design, functionality, and the female-read body by embodying iconic design objects to reveal processes of aestheticization and objectification. Within the context of capitalist consumer logics, it critically reflects on the cultural and economic structures that produce and reinforce normative notions of the body, beauty, and utility.
