Forest Archive / a Temporal Collection
Years captured in fragments — bark-memories accumulating, textures speaking across time.

My artistic practice, which unfolds in expansive installations with sculptural, sonic, and videographic elements, is rooted in a ritual: long walks in the forest and the systematic collection of objects shaped by time and erosion. This original gesture of archiving forms the conceptual foundation for all further transformations.
I am interested in found objects with special aesthetic qualities: stones, branches, bark, roots — organic forms whose shape is marked by temporal inscriptions. Each find is archived according to the scheme FIND-[material]-[location]-[date]- [serial number] – for example, FIND-BRN-W23-240210-001 for a branch from forest sector 23, found on February 10, 2024.

For this project, I am focusing on the sculptural dimension: in the studio, a dialogue develops between found objects and handmade elements. Selected found objects are recreated, creating a tension between documentary accuracy and interpretive transformation. These sculptural works explore the fluid transitions between organic and constructed formal languages and deliberately create spaces of perception in which familiar categories dissolve. Moments of productive irritation open up new interpretations between the familiar and the unfamiliar. The question of the object’s authenticity becomes a reflection on our relationship to nature and the conditionality of our perception.
